Project Location: 33–37 Muncii Street, Gilău Village, Gilău Commune, Cluj County, Romania

The objective of the project is to support the company’s digital transformation through investments in tangible and intangible assets, including social media and IT services, thereby contributing to economic growth and enhancing the company’s competitiveness through increased use of information and communication technologies (ICT).

The total value of the project is RON 785,794.02, of which RON 493,080.00 represents non-reimbursable funding (RON 419,118.00 from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and RON 73,962.00 from the Romanian National Budget).

SPECIFIC PROJECT OBJECTIVES

  • DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION OF THE COMPANY THROUGH THE ACQUISITION OF TANGIBLE AND INTANGIBLE ASSETS

To achieve the overall objective of the project, the following tangible and high-performance intangible assets will be acquired:
Laptop
Smartphone
Integrated Smart Management Platform / Web Solution
AI Chatbot
Warehouse Management System (WMS)
Product Data Management (PDM) System

Integration of these tangible and intangible assets into the company’s existing technological workflow will enable its digital transformation, increase operational efficiency, improve customer relationships, optimize internal processes, and strengthen the company’s long-term competitiveness. To achieve this specific objective, the procurement procedures will ensure that the tangible and intangible assets acquired represent modern, innovative technologies whose technical characteristics will have a significant impact on the company’s operations by generating substantial technical and economic benefits. In order to achieve this specific objective, the project team will carry out the following activities: conducting the procurement procedures for the tangible and intangible assets included in the project; making the payments related to the supply contract; monitoring the implementation of the supply contract; and receiving, installing, and commissioning the acquired tangible and intangible assets.

  • IMPLEMENTATION OF MEASURES REGARDING HORIZONTAL PRINCIPLES

To achieve this specific objective, the following measures will be implemented: 1) Measures to improve environmental quality and increase energy efficiency: • Integration of state-of-the-art digital technologies. • Responsible use of resources. • Reduction of carbon emissions. 2) Measures to ensure equal opportunities and equal treatment: • The assets to be acquired will be accessible to all employees regardless of gender, age, or ethnicity, and will include features that facilitate access and operation by persons with disabilities. • The provision of digital training courses tailored to different levels of education and experience, ensuring equal access to the use of new technologies and thereby supporting the digital inclusion of all employees.

  • INCREASING LABOUR PRODUCTIVITY

Through this specific objective, the project aims to increase labour productivity by at least 15% in the third year following the completion of the project’s implementation. Achieving this objective will enable the company to attain a higher level of market competitiveness. To accomplish this specific objective, the following measures will be taken:

1) Digital transformation of the company through the acquisition of state-of-the-art tangible and intangible assets.

2) Development of human resources by facilitating access to training programmes that will support the effective use of the acquired digital technologies.

3) Increasing the company’s visibility and strengthening customer relationships through the implementation of a web platform with advanced functionalities.

CURRENT STATUS OF THE PROJECT

Following the signing of the Grant Agreement on 16 December 2025, the following activities have been carried out:

  • Access to the beneficiary platform (https://beneficiar.fonduri-ue.ro) was obtained on 20 January 2026.
  • Publication of the project launch announcement, approved under No. 040955/04.02.2026, in an online publication.
  • Launch of the public procurement procedures:
    • During the period from 27 February 2026 to 27 March 2026, procurement notices were published to initiate the acquisition of the tangible and intangible assets.
  • March 2026: Submission of Milestone Indicator Report No. 1.
  • From March 2026 to the present, the bids submitted for the tangible and intangible assets have been evaluated, and the supply contracts have been signed.
  • On 16 April 2026, Progress Report No. 1 was submitted.
  • During the period from 9 April 2026 to 29 May 2026, the supply contracts for the budgeted tangible and intangible assets were signed.
  • On 17 April 2026, the laptops were delivered.
  • On 8 May 2026, the Product Data Management (PDM) System was delivered.
  • On 9 June 2026, the smartphones were delivered.
