1200 ambulances through PNNR

Deltamed has the privilege obtained following a public tender organized by IGSU to produce 1200 ambulances for Romania within the project “Modernization of emergency medical care within Component 12 – Health, Target 534 – Acquisition of new ambulances from the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR)”.

The project consists of the execution of a number of 1000 type B ambulances built on Volkswagen Crafter 4×4 vans and a number of 200 type C ambulances, box type on MAN TGE chassis.

The technical complexity of the ambulances as well as the time frame of only 18 months in which we have to fit in imposed an unprecedented transformation of the company, both at the personnel level and at the level of internal processes.

DSU thus remains consistent with its commitment to permanently improve the emergency response capacity and to increase the quality of services offered to citizens.

Through this strategic investment, Romania is taking an important step towards strengthening its emergency system, ensuring modern and safe equipment for medical and paramedical personnel and a faster and more efficient response in support of citizens.
