Deltamed, a manufacturer of vehicles for special and emergency interventions, with Romanian shareholders, will begin the production of ambulances in the new unit built in Aiud, an investment of 1.8 million euros.
Deltamed was founded in 1997, in Cluj-Napoca, and is currently the largest manufacturer of ambulances and special intervention vehicles in Eastern Europe, according to the latest data.
We are talking about a hall of over 2,000 square meters that will support the expansion of the ambulance production capacity that we had until now.
Deltamed’s first production unit is located in Gilău, Cluj County, on an area of 13,000 square meters, which contains seven production halls.
“The new hall has an annual production capacity of between 150 and 200 units, depending on the number of orders we receive, following the tenders we participate in. There is no separation of production between the domestic and foreign markets, our company supplies to the same quality standards both locally and internationally.
