About

In this role, you will transform technical requirements from tenders and direct client requests into clear, deliverable, and accurately estimated technical solutions for ambulances and special vehicles.

You will work alongside commercial, engineering, design, and production teams to define technical configurations and associated costs for each project.

The role focuses on technical configuration, solution definition, and cost estimation—not on detailed design or procurement activities.

RESPONSABILITIES

What you will do

  • Analyze tender documents, RFQs, and technical specifications for special vehicle projects;
  • Translate client requirements into feasible technical configurations aligned with our production capabilities;
  • Define technical solutions, equipment, and systems required for each project, in collaboration with colleagues from commercial, project management, conceptual design, and management teams;
  • Estimate project costs (e.g., equipment, labor, integration, auxiliary costs);
  • Prepare technical documentation for proposals and clarifications (technical datasheets, compliance matrices, product descriptions);
  • Collaborate with internal teams to validate proposed solutions;
  • Provide technical support to the commercial team during the bidding process;
  • Ensure proposed solutions are feasible and aligned with production capabilities.

What a typical day in this role might look like

  • Analyze a tender document and identify relevant technical requirements;
  • Configure an ambulance or special vehicle based on specifications;
  • Select (and source) appropriate equipment and systems for each project;
  • Estimate costs based on configuration and complexity;
  • Prepare compliance matrices for public tenders;
  • Discuss technical solutions with engineering, production, and sales teams.

Candidate profile

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (mechanical, electrical, mechatronics engineering, or similar);
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in technical bidding, product configuration, technical pre-sales, or cost estimation;
  • Ability to analyze technical documentation and translate it into concrete solutions;
  • Experience with complex technical products (e.g., vehicles, equipment, integrated systems);
  • Ability to define technical configurations and select appropriate equipment;
  • Experience in cost estimation (components, labor, integration);
  • Good command of English (for technical documentation);
  • Analytical thinking and attention to detail.

Nice to have (advantages)

  • Experience in configuring or bidding for special vehicles or complex products;
  • Experience participating in public tenders and preparing technical documentation;
  • Experience working with ERP systems (e.g., Navision, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, ASIS, etc.) or product/configuration databases;
  • Experience with medical equipment or integration of complex technical systems.
