Production Management Technician

Description

Role Purpose

Ensuring accurate and efficient management of production activities within the mechanical workshops by monitoring and precisely recording semi-finished parts and components, tracking project progress and production planning, and providing operational data and reports necessary for coordinating activities. In this way, the technician contributes to optimizing workflows, reducing losses, and maintaining transparency and accuracy of information in the mechanical workshop processes.

Main Responsibilities

  • Processes lists of semi-finished parts for delivery to the assembly workshops, clarifying deadlines with coordinating engineers and workshop coordinators;
  • Ensures that each part / semi-finished component under production is accompanied by the required documentation, completing technological sheets, execution drawings, or other necessary information;
  • Manages the status of parts / subassemblies (physical vs. recorded in the system), ensuring the provision of accurate information to the involved personnel and departments;
  • Verifies the physical stage of completion of components according to technological sheets and execution drawings;
  • Collects completed component parts and semi-finished products and transports them to the appropriate storage locations or to the assembly teams, according to the production workflow;
  • Centralizes daily executed products based on workshop coordinators’ reports and generates production analyses;
  • Reports the completion of semi-finished products in the internal ERP system (ASIS/RIA) and to the direct supervisor, indicating the degree of compliance with execution deadlines;
  • Proposes measures for meeting production deadlines and optimizing production processes;
  • Contributes to maintaining an optimal volume of raw materials in the workshops by reporting any system or process anomalies;
  • Prepares material requests in the ERP system (ASIS/RIA) based on requirements established together with the workshop coordinators;
  • Manages storage spaces for semi-finished products (shelves, carts, specially marked areas) to support visual management and efficient production organization;
  • Occasionally acts as the interface between workshop coordinators and the section manager;
  • Provides technical support in clarifying manufacturing processes and documentation, receiving and transmitting information to and from technical departments (production, design, industrialization, service, after-sales, as applicable).

Candidate profile

Requirements:
• Technical secondary education in the mechanical / industrial / production field;
• Experience in a production environment, preferably in mechanical workshops or in the management of semi-finished products;
• Proven experience in handling technical documentation (technological sheets, execution drawings);
• Good organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to monitor execution deadlines;
• PC skills (Excel) and experience using an ERP system – considered an advantage;
• Communication and collaboration skills with production teams and technical departments;
• Proactive attitude, responsibility, and willingness to be involved in production activities; passion for the technical / automotive field; very good analytical and synthesis skills.
