Military ambulance

Ambulance built on an IVECO Daily 4×4 chassis, capable of transporting 4 patients on standard NATO stretchers or, alternatively, 6 seated people plus 1 attendant.

The stretcher supports can be slid outwards for easy loading. If transport in a seated position is desired, the supports fold upwards, freeing the bench. Access is via a ladder fixed under the superstructure.

An oxygen supply system is available, the air inside can be conditioned (cooling, heating, ventilation). CBRN protection preparation is also provided.

The paint is in accordance with NATO regulations. The black-out option is also present.

Airborne intensive care unit

The MEDEVAC DLT-7001 module addresses the need to transport serious patients by military aircraft.

Since the fastening systems in military aircraft are mainly intended for the transport of military equipment, in the event of the need to transport wounded or seriously ill patients, the means are few. To solve this situation, Deltamed has developed a medical module built on a standard aviation pallet type 463L that allows the transport and medical support at the intensive care level for 2 patients. It also allows the transport of 2 medical attendants seated on chairs with the possibility of translation.

The equipment available for each patient is: defibrillator-monitor with 12 ECG, SpO2, NIBP, IBP, temp; ventilator with volume and pressure support, 4 automatic syringes and 2 volumetric pumps, secretion aspirator. An oxygen administration system via mask or for ventilator supply is also available, consisting of 2 10-liter oxygen cylinders with the necessary distribution system.

The stretcher is compatible with the ambulance fixation systems currently used by Romanian authorities and can be fixed in both positions (180 degree rotation).

The electrical system can be connected on the ground and in the air to the aircraft’s electrical system, accepting multiple voltages and frequencies. With all medical equipment having charged batteries and full oxygen cylinders, an autonomy of at least 3 hours in providing medical assistance is guaranteed.

The module is compatible with any aircraft that accepts 463L type pallets – e.g. Leonardo C-27J subject to airworthiness requirements.
