Role Purpose

Ensuring an efficient and continuous operational flow of equipment, materials and vehicles involved in ongoing projects, by managing preparation for production, equipment, service, approval and delivery, tracking project status and operational logistical support, so that activities are carried out without blockages, delays or non-conformities.

General job description:

The operational flow technician is primarily responsible for managing and directly supporting the physical and operational flow of projects, having an active role in preparing vehicles and equipment for production, equipment, service, RAR homologation and delivery.

The position involves tracking the status of vehicles and projects, preparing equipment and devices that are part of the special vehicles, coordinating internal and external travel, as well as constant collaboration with the production, service, logistics, project management, and procurement departments.

The role does not involve quantitative inventory management, but rather the use of stock and availability information to ensure continuity of operational flow and compliance with project deadlines.

Main Responsibilities

  • Project and vehicle flow coordination: tracks the status of vehicles and projects in production, equipment, service and delivery; monitors and centralizes work stages, is directly involved in solving and reports blockages or delays; collaborates with project managers and production coordinators to synchronize activities.
  • Preparing projects for equipment: prepares projects and provides direct support for service equipment and equipment with medical devices; ensures that the equipment required for each stage is available; manages the internal delivery of equipment between work areas and stages of project flows.
  • Support for approvals – RAR: participates in the preparation of vehicles for approvals; provides support for the movement of vehicles to and from RAR; communicates observations resulting from the approval processes to the responsible colleague.
  • Operational logistics: directly contributes to moving and positioning vehicles within the premises or between locations; handles and prepares the equipment necessary for the work stages.
  • Interdepartmental communication and collaboration: collaborates permanently mainly with production, project management, service, logistics, procurement departments; transmits accurate information in a centralized form regarding project status and operational needs.
  • Compliance with procedures: complies with internal handling, security and operational flow procedures; ensures operational traceability of projects (vehicle received-equipment-stage).

Candidate profile

The ideal candidate:

  • Completed secondary education in a technical field;
  • Experience in companies with production, operational logistics, service activities; experience in the automotive field or prototype projects (technical field) is an advantage;
  • Essential technical skills: understanding production flows, ability to simultaneously follow multiple activities/tasks, PC use (applications such as Microsoft Office package – Excel, Outlook, etc.) and IT systems (ERP – operational level), category C driving license.
  • Personal skills: very good organizational capacity and orientation towards meeting and respecting deadlines, ability to react quickly in unforeseen situations, very good communication skills, collaboration and attention to detail, responsible person and passionate about the technical field, Availability for involvement in operational activities and travel (primarily within the local area).
