Welder (Stainless Steel – Aluminum – Steel)

Description

Role Purpose

Performing welding work to high quality standards, on materials such as stainless steel, aluminum and steel, in accordance with the technical specifications of each project, in order to assemble metal components of the body and auxiliary structures for ambulances and special vehicles.

Main Responsibilities

  • Performs MIG/MAG and TIG welding on stainless steel, aluminum and steel according to technical documentation;
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics and welding specifications;
  • Prepares the surfaces to be welded (cleaning, cutting, adjusting, fixing);
  • Checks materials and subassemblies for compliance with quality requirements;
  • Uses welding equipment and auxiliary tools safely and efficiently;
  • Complies with material and weld traceability procedures (where applicable);
  • Maintain cleanliness at the workplace and maintain work equipment;
  • Works in a team with mechanical locksmiths, fitters and technicians, depending on the project phases;
  • Collaborates with the quality department to validate the work performed;
  • Immediately report any non-conformity, error or lack of materials.

Candidate profile

Ideal candidate:

Education and certifications:
• Secondary or professional studies (technical profile – welding, mechanics);
Valid welder authorizations for MIG/MAG and TIG processes (or availability for recertification);
• Advanced knowledge in reading/interpreting technical drawings;

Experience:
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position, working with stainless steel, aluminum and steel;
• Experience in industrial production environments, preferably in small series or prototypes;

Skills and abilities:
• Attention to detail and quality orientation;
• Manual dexterity and precision;
• Physical endurance and ability to work on your feet;
• Responsibility, seriousness and ability to work in a team;
• Compliance with occupational health and safety regulations and PSI.
