We are looking for two experienced engineers with technical vision and the ability to transform functional requirements into a reliable design, optimized for manufacturing and maintenance.
Role Purpose
Ensuring the conception, development, and integration of innovative mechanical solutions for new Deltamed projects, in close collaboration with the electrical, automation, and production teams.
The role involves technical project responsibility, participation in defining concepts, validating mechanical feasibility, and coordinating the integration of components into the final product, without involving direct administrative team management.
The role is designed as a nodal point between concept, design, and technical integration, serving as a key resource within the Deltamed teams that develop special vehicles and equipment.
The aim is not only mechanical drafting, but active contribution to innovation, feasibility, and the technical quality of the final product.

Requirements:
Completed higher education in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Machine Building;
Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical design for complex products (ideally automotive, special vehicles, industrial or medical equipment);
Demonstrated experience in new product development (concept → prototype → production);
Experience working collaboratively with other technical disciplines (electrical, IT, automation);
Knowledge of standards and technical regulations specific to transportation products or integrated equipment (EN, ISO, CE, etc.);
English language: professional level (B2–C1) – required for technical documentation, training, and collaboration with suppliers/partners.
Technical Requirements:
Strong knowledge of 3D and 2D design (SolidWorks, CATIA, Inventor, or equivalent);
Experience in developing complex products or systems (automotive, special vehicles, medical, industrial, or aeronautical equipment);
Understanding of multidisciplinary system architecture and mechanical interfaces with electrical/electronic components;
Knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes (cutting, bending, welding, painting, gravity or pressure casting, thermoforming, assembly), tolerances, and dimensional control;
Experience in preparing manufacturing documentation (drawings, bills of materials, technical specifications);
Skills in modeling, analysis, and simulation (FEA, mechanical strength – considered an advantage);
Experience in prototype validation and functional test result analysis;
Ability to translate customer requirements into clear and feasible technical specifications for internal teams;
Attention to detail and consistent orientation toward quality and standardization.
Essential Technical Competencies:
3D/2D mechanical design (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA); strength analysis and dimensional verification; knowledge of electromechanical compatibility and electrical component assembly; definition and management of mechanical BOMs; DFM/DFA optimization (Design for Manufacturing / Design for Assembly); complete technical documentation (tolerances, dimensions, symbols, finishes, materials); ERP use for technical data traceability and design changes; basic knowledge of pneumatics and motion mechanisms – an advantage.
