Description
DELTAMED, one of the most important European bodybuilders of ambulances and special vehicles, is expanding its team by bringing on board a colleague who will take on the role of PROJECT MANAGER.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinates all phases of an approved project: initiation / planning / execution / monitoring & control / closing;
- Coordinates the interdepartmental project team and internal resources;
- Organizes and leads regular meetings with the project team to monitor progress and adjust activities as needed;
- Makes sure that the deadlines for completing the project phases are met;
- Completes and supervises the documentation used;
- Regularly and upon request informs the CEO about the status of the project’s progress;
- Manages the relationship with the stakeholders;
- Creates, together with the project team, the risk mitigation plan (“plan B”);
- Optimizes processes and the overall approach when necessary;
- Ensures compliance with the budget / costs;
- Ensures that the project requirements are met;
- Ensures the completion of the project in accordance with the contract;
- Conducts a final evaluation of the project together with the project team before the client’s acceptance inspection;
- Participates in the project acceptance process;
- Demonstrates a “lessons learned” approach in all circumstances, so that identified mistakes have the lowest possible chance of recurring.
Candidate profile
Ideal Candidate

Successfully completed higher education – mechanical engineering/electrical engineering or a comparable qualification;

Specific certifications in project management issued by specialized institutions (national/international) are an advantage;

Experience: minimum 5 years as a project manager, preferably in the automotive industry; proven experience in collaboration at management level;

Advanced PC skills (MS Office Suite) and familiarity with project management applications (e.g., OpenProject);

Advanced knowledge of project cost structures, applicable quality management methods and procedures;

Experience with ERP software (e.g., tracking project-related resources, bill of materials, planning, project status/documentation, etc.);

English language: at least intermediate level – ability to communicate in writing and verbally using technical terminology; German is an advantage;

Driver’s license: category B;

Strong communication, coordination, and motivational skills; excellent planning, organization, and control abilities; responsibility, determination, and the capacity to reach objectives through strategic initiatives; ability to maintain an overarching perspective of the company’s activities;

Passionate about the field, oriented toward continuous improvement, and a skilled negotiator.
