Open air Car Exposition at Polus 2014
In the period between 9-11 May we were present at the Open air Car Exposition at Polus, this time as exhibitors!
We were glad to offer to those interested the chance to admire, in absolute premiere, a new model of the first intervention and control truck built on a Volkswagen Amarok Single Cab, with a larger sized glass fibre superstructure and a much bigger water tank (600 liters), without doubt the exposition`s attraction point, both for the experimented as for the beginners, some of them our future firemen.
At the exposition we also presented two special solutions for people with disabilities, built on a Dacia Dokker. Cutting the rear part of the vehicle and replacing it with a ramp which, when necessary, can be transformed into a floor / luggage carrier is one of our solutions which enables the charging and discharging of a wheelchair through the rear doors for the transport of a person. For the comfort of the person in the wheelchair the vehicle includes a dorsal support and a head restraint, being an excellent extra protection system which has passed the EuroNCAP test with 10G for the rear impact. The seatbelt of the person in the wheelchair was also successfully EuroNCAP tested with 20G in case of frontal impact.
The second solution presented at this exposition was the swivel chair, installed in place of the right front passenger seat, a chair which eases entering / exiting the car, through a 90° rotation towards the exterior, perpendicular to the direction of travel. Moreover, it includes a wheeled support which can be moved from the car and transformed into a wheelchair for the transport of a disabled person.
We thank all those who have visited us! For further questions and details on our vehicles we are always at your disposal!
