Project for emergency helicopter stretchers, completed as a national premiere

The last airborne emergency stretchers included in the project “Integrated helicopter system with MEDEVAC role” were delivered in the last couple of days to their final beneficiaries – the Airforce representatives of the Otopeni and Câmpia Turzii air bases. This unique project, which consisted in the achievement of 20 fully equipped helicopter emergency stretchers and dedicated transport boxes with integrated AC system, represents a NATIONAL PREMIERE and an extraordinary achievement of our company, marking at the same time an important stage in the innovation of our entire field of activity.

The finished products resulting from this occasion will be a real help in the case of emergency medical interventions that involve air transport, and will ensure an uninterrupted and fully automated process of maintaining the patient’s vital functions, between moving on the ground and using the flight apparatus.

All the components of the project were thoroughly tested, in the production phase, directly on a flight apparatus adapted to medical interventions, in Brașov – following the collaboration the Romanian Aeronautical Enterprise.

The basic structure is represented of a solid stretcher on which all the mountings for the medical equipment, dedicated electrical system and oxygen supply have been fitted separately. Also, the medical equipment chosen for this project includes the top variants of each market segment.

A single stretcher, in the optimal equipment variant, can simultaneously ensure the vital functions of two patients, for use in critical situations.

The box is 100% custom made of aluminum, is completely waterproof and integrates a dedicated AC system with military specific, with a range of use from -37 ° to + 60 °, operated by digital controller. This way, it can ensure the optimum operating temperature of all the equipment supported on the emergency stretcher, under any storage conditions.
